4 Stage Rainwater Filter
Top of the line for rainwater tank filters; the RWTF4, 4 stage rainwater tank filter has an additional granular activated carbon filter cartridge.
This system includes another stage of filtration to further remove any finer chemicals with a high flow rate of 46 litres per minute.
This filter system was created and designed to ensure that clean water is continuously flowing throughout every water outlet.
The RWTF4, 4 stage rainwater tank filter is fit for any large sized home and should have no effect on the water pressure.
Filtration Stages

The first stage in the RWTF4 system is a 5 Micron PP Sediment Filter. This is an integral part of the system as it prepares the water quality for the next stage by eliminating larger particles.
Made from highly durable polypropylene fibre which has been blown for high performance.
- Meets FDA requirements for food and beverage contact
- No leachable or extractable materials to contaminate further stages
Removes larger suspended particles such as sediment, rust, sand, silt, and algae
Replace every 12 months

Carbon Block Filters are an integral part of any water filtration system, this is mainly due to their effectiveness and versatility when it comes to treating water. The 5 Micron Activated Carbon Block Filter is the second stage in the RWTF4 system and is the best known treatment method for volatile organic chemicals such as pesticides and herbicides, it is also the most efficient method to treat chlorine.
- High quality particulate filtration
- Tested and approved activated carbon
Removes chlorine, turbidity, bad taste & odour, sediment, dirt, trihalomethanes, chemicals and algae
Replace every 12 months

The third stage on the RWTF4 is a Granular Activated Carbon Filter. This is a proven option at adsorbing a wide range of impurities and contaminants in water. It removes organics, chlorine, odour, turbidity.
- High quality particulate filtration
- High density micropores for the best filtering of contaminants
Removes chlorine, turbidity, bad taste & odour, sediment, dirt, trihalomethanes, chemicals and algae
Replace every 12 months

The most important and final stage in the RWTF4 rainwater tank filtration system is the ultraviolet lamp. UV lamps are crucial as the rainwater storage tanks are an ideal place for bacteria and viruses to cultivate. The ultraviolet lamp eliminates 100% of microbiological contaminants present in the water including bacteria and viruses.
- High flow rate, stainless steel chamber
- Audible and visual alarm for replacement of UV lamp
Removes upto 99.99% of harmful bacteria, viruses, fungi, algae and microorganisms such as giardia and e-coli
Replace lamp every 12 months
Filter Cartridge and UV Lamp Replacement
The cartridge filters are very easy to replace, they must firstly be depressurized by pressing on the button on top of each cartridge; releasing the pressure from inside the filter housing.
Then each housing can be easily untightened with the tool and it’s as simple as replacing the old filter with the new one.
The life of the cartridge filters varies based on your average daily use and the quality of your municipal tap water. If your tap water is relatively heavily contaminated, your filter works harder to keep your water clean, which will decrease the life of the filter. With that being said, the filters should be replaced every 12 months.
The UV lamp sterilizer contains an audible and visual warning lamp to alert the customer that it is no longer functioning and needs to be replaced. The life on the uv lamps are 9000 hours; making them last a year. They can be easily replaced by removing them from the stainless steel housing.
Filter cartridges: Every 12 months
UV Light: Every 12 months
